Dieser virtuelle Synthesizer für die VST-Schnittstelle ermöglicht die Einbindung der kreativen Möglichkeiten des 5.1-Surround-Sound direkt in das Sounddesign. Es stehen jeweils zwei Oszillatoren für Front und Rear sowie jeweils ein weiterer Oszillator für Center und LFE (Subwoofer) zur Verfügung. Resonanzfähige Multimodefilter für jede dieser Surround-Ebenen und insgesamt drei LFOs sorgen für interessante Klangverläufe und Modulationen. Mit dem Arpeggiator lassen sich dank der Beat-Synchronisation auch rhythmische Gating-Effekte erzeugen. Sämtliche Parameter des Subtrakt 5.1 können via MIDI-Controller gesteuert werden und sind voll in die VST-Automation eingebunden.

21.11.2003: Version 0.93. Die Filter-Hüllkurve kann alternativ auf Osc-Pitch und Ringmodulation (Front & Rear), bzw. auf den Distortion-Wert des Centers gelegt werden. Spektralanzeige und Oszilloskop jetzt für alle Oszillatoren gemeinsam. Modulationsziele der LFOs umfassen jetzt auch die VCAs, Tremolos möglich! LFO-Amount kann feiner justiert werden.
This virtual synthesizer for the VST-interface allows you to use the creative possibilities of 5.1-surround sound within the process of sounddesign. There are two oscillators for each front and rear and an additional oscillator for the center and one for the LFE (subwoofer) channel. Multimode-filters for each surround-stage and a total of three LFOs allow for interesting and complex sound textures. The arpeggiator is bpm-synchronized to the host application, so rhythmic gating-effects are easy to create. All parameters of Subtrakt 5.1 can be controlled via MIDI-controllers and are available for VST-automation.

21.11.2003: Version 0.93. Filter-envelope can alternatively be routed to osc-pitch and ringmodulation-depth (front & rear) or distortion-intensity (center). Spectral display and oscilloscope shared by all oscillators. Modulation targets in the LFO-section now including VCAs (tremolo!). LFO-amount adjustment resolution improved.
